How do I finalize my payment?
If your trip was paid in full at the time of booking, you are all set!
There is a link in this confirmation email where you can finalize your payment, or you can pay cash to the captain at the time of departure. If you are paying with card, the balance needs to be paid by the day prior to your trip.
Do I need to tip?
Our Captain and crew go above and beyond during every trip to make sure all of our passengers are safe and have an amazing fishing experience. Your First Mate works exclusively off tips. Tips are an excellent way to show your appreciation for a job well done. Tipping is never mandatory but always appreciated! Standard would be 10%-20% for the crew. For your convenience we can add the tip to your credit card after your trip, just give us a call!
Can I keep my catch?
The captain and crew will filet and package your catch for you! Included in the price of your trip is up to 15 fish fileted. Often, we have several trips in a day's period, for this reason your catch can't be guaranteed ready to go until the next day. You always have the option to take your catch with you directly after your trip as is. Additionally, we have several restaurants in the area that will cook your catch,
The Reef located at: 14701 Gulf Blvd, Madeira Beach, FL 33708 and
Broke N Board Grill located at: 35 182nd Ave W, Redington Shores, FL 33708
are two locations that we recommend.
If you are limited in time or have additional catch you would like fileted or vacuum sealed please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you, although extra fees may apply.
What if the weather is bad?
The weather in the Gulf of Mexico can change on a dime! El Pescador monitors NOAA and local weather constantly throughout the day. We try to wait until the evening before your trip before canceling due to weather. We generally do not go out if there is a small craft advisory. Your deposit is 100% refundable if we have to cancel your trip due to weather. Saftey is always our first priority.
